What is VAT exemption?

VAT exemption is available to customers on some qualifying products.  Products that have been designed specifically for use by people with a long lasting disability usually qualify for exemption.

People usually qualify for exemption if they have a long lasting illness or disability, temporary conditions such as broken bones do not qualify, whereas long lasting conditions such as arthritis do qualify.
